Stylist Modern Study

What's E-Design?

E-Design is Online Interior Design or also known as virtual decorating. It is simply about convenience, affordable design fees and reduced timescales for the client.  E-design is more of a collaboration between the client and the designer as work will be required by both parties so that the typical design timeline is sped up considerably.  All of the communication is either done by phone or email which allows you to have more flexibility in your schedule.

What's included?

The Questionnaire:

You will be required to complete a detailed questionnaire which covers everything from the timeline, budget, your current furniture, preferences on fabric, colour, art preferences and style. The questions can go in-depth regarding your preferences because it is important that I understand your personality, as this will have a huge impact on delivering a final design you love.

Homework:

You share any photos or images with me that inspire you. You will be required to measure your space and send good photos of the areas required. It is also helpful if you let me know of the surrounding rooms and their style so I can ensure the new design connects to the existing spaces. Also please make note of any existing furniture or pieces you would like to keep in the new design.

Moodboard Creation:

Once I have received the questionnaire and payment, I then start creating the mood board based on the information that you have provided from the questionnaire. You will receive 1-2 mood boards (depending on the package) with inspiration images, mainly so you can see that I have understood your requirements in line with your vision, style and space.

Design Plan

With the Elite Package, I include a floorplan, mood boards, design concept, a shopping list, and styling instructions.

The Execution:

You purchase the recommended items from the shopping list at your convenience and pull the room together once everything has been received. I offer a follow up if you need any further help styling or to tackle any remaining issues to help you finish the space. I love to see photos of your newly designed space!

What is the right design approach for you? If you don't know where to start and you feel you need someone to guide you through the process of designing your space, take you shopping, create detailed plans and concepts, then the traditional method is probably best for you.

On the other hand, if you're not a stranger to your tape measurer, and not afraid to get out those tester pots, then E-Design might be the answer for you!. The list provided below isn't all-encompassing, but it will give you a good idea if a virtual designer or local designer would be a better fit for you, luckily we can provide you with either!
